About Me:
Welcome! I'm Ariel, a passionate advocate for civil rights, progressive policies, and building stronger, more inclusive communities. Based in Oregon, I channel my empty-nest energy into grassroots activism, supporting marginalized communities, and empowering everyday people to make a difference.
My journey began with aspirations of becoming a journalist, but life had other plans. As a stay-at-home single mom to a medically fragile child, I learned resilience, advocacy, and the power of finding your voice — all skills I now bring to my work.
I run Oregonizers, a progressive activism group that partners with coalitions nationwide to protect and promote civil rights. Whether I’m crafting impactful case studies, witty social media posts, or accessible tutorials, my focus is always on amplifying voices that need to be heard. I also host national Social Media Best Practices trainings through the DNC with a focus on uplifting progressive messaging.
In my downtime, I indulge my love for crafts, technology, sci-fi movies, and spending time with my kids dog who somehow still lives with us in our empty nest. My favorite shows and films — from Doctor Who to The West Wing — reflect my love for stories that inspire hope, resilience, and a dash of rebellion.
Let’s work together to build a better, fairer world. After all, change begins with us.
